Effective communication is critical to successful integrated care in health centers. This 30-minute webinar will explore how shared language and the use of scripting can improve team collaboration, strengthen patient engagement, and create a more consistent patient-directed care experience. Participants will receive practical  strategies to immediately apply in their own care settings.

Objectives:

Participants in this webinar will be able to:

  • Explain the value of shared language and scripting to foster effective communication among integrated care teams. 
  • Identify scenarios in which scripting can increase patient engagement and streamline coordination across disciplines. 
  • Apply strategies for shared language and scripting to improve warm handoffs, care transitions, and behavioral health screenings. 
  • Evaluate how the use of shared language supports team-based care, enhances trust, and reinforces consistency in service delivery. 

Presenter:

Amber Murray, RN, BSN, MA, PMP is a program director at JBS International, Inc. where she collaborates with federal, state, and local agencies as well as colleges and universities to develop and disseminate integrated behavioral health curricula, training, and technical assistance. Ms. Murray is dedicated to supporting health care system transformation that results in comprehensive care for those in need.
